Until WEBDEV 17 was released, WEBDEV PHP only worked with ISO-8859-1 based languages (such as French, Spanish or English).

However, you may use a tricky technique to bypass this frustration.
My project in attachment shows how to perform an Arabic website en PHP.

Obviously you may reproduce the same pattern for a Japanese or Chinese website.

Pros :
- Based on a Model-View-Controller architecture
- Higher indexing rank (uses html pages instead of php)
Cons :
- Requires JS (latest browsers)
- Time consuming developement process
